TeamMap is published by Rammoozz Tech, LLC. This page explains how to delete your TeamMap account and everything attached to it, what we remove straight away, and what we have to keep for a while longer.

Deleting your account cannot be undone. You lose access immediately and we cannot restore the account or its data afterwards.

Delete your account from the app

This is the fastest route, and it finishes in under a minute.

On Android or iPhone

  • Open TeamMap and sign in.
  • Open Settings.
  • Scroll to the bottom, to Danger zone.
  • Tap Delete Account.
  • Type DELETE to arm the button, then confirm.
  • Confirm it is you. If you sign in with Google or Apple, this happens on the spot; otherwise we email you a link to tap, and you return to this screen afterwards.

On the web

  • Sign in at teammap.co/dashboard.
  • Open Settings.
  • Choose Danger zone.
  • Choose Delete Account, tick the confirmation, and confirm it is you when asked.
If you cannot sign in

You do not need the app to have your account deleted. Email hello@teammap.co from the address you signed up with, ask us to delete your account, and we will confirm by reply once it is done. If you can no longer reach that address, tell us which address it was and how we can verify it is yours.

What we delete

All of this goes as soon as the deletion runs, on every device:

  • Your sign-in. You can no longer sign in anywhere, on any device.
  • Your profile. Name, email address, phone number, photo, and every preference you set.
  • Your position and presence. Your last known position and your online status stop being shared and are removed.
  • Your photos of yourself. Your profile picture and any avatar we mirrored from Google or Apple.
  • Your place in every organization. Your membership, your role, your per-organization settings, and the notification registrations for your devices.
  • Your notifications. Everything sitting in your notification list.
  • Invitations addressed to you. Any pending invitation to your email address, so nobody can accept one in your name later.
  • Your billing record. Your customer record and its stored subscription history.
What we keep, and for how long

TeamMap is a safety service, so a small amount of information survives a deletion because a person's safety, a legal obligation, or a customer's own records depend on it. None of it can be used to sign in, and none of it puts your account back.

  • A record that the account was deleted. The account reference, the email address, and the date — so we can answer a later question about the deletion, and so a deletion cannot be quietly denied. Kept for 1 year, then deleted automatically.
  • Work records held by your organization. Reports you filed, incident notes, and messages you sent belong to the organization that asked for them, not to your account, so they stay with it — no longer attached to a live sign-in. Each organization's plan sets how long they last, from 7 days on Free to 1 year on Enterprise, after which they are deleted automatically.
  • Shifts you worked. Timesheets and shift records are payroll and evidence, so they are kept for as long as the organization exists and are never deleted on a schedule. They stay with the organization, no longer attached to a live sign-in.
  • Clock-in and clock-out photos. Kept for 180 days so a pay or billing dispute can be settled, then deleted automatically.
  • Emergency alerts. An SOS you raised is life-safety evidence and is kept for as long as the organization exists. Deleting your account does not remove it.

To ask an organization to remove the work records it holds about you, contact that organization. If you would rather we passed the request on, email hello@teammap.co and tell us which organization it is.

If the app refuses to delete your account

There are two cases where deleting straight away would break something for other people, so we stop and say so:

  • You pay for an organization. Cancel the subscription first, in Billing on a computer, then delete your account.
  • You are the last owner of an organization with other members in it. Deleting would leave them with nobody in charge. Email hello@teammap.co to hand the organization over or close it, then delete your account.

Neither case blocks you for long, and neither means we will not delete your account. If you are stuck on either, email hello@teammap.co and we will sort it out with you.
